Animations should be exported in swf format for use on the Freehand site, and for best playback results your animation should be created using 12 fps (frames per second). If your animation has been exported as a movie file then please refer to the video upload instructions.

1. Log-in to your profile page
2. Choose Animation from the 'Media Type' drop down list.
3. Enter a title and short description for your animation, if you do not include a title it will display as 'untitled'.
4. Click on the 'Choose File' button and browse your computer to locate the file you would like to attach for upload to your portfolio.
5. Click the 'Submit' button to start the upload process.
6. Once your file has been successfully uploaded you will be directed to the 'Congratulations' page confirming that your file has been uploaded
7. from here you can return back to your profile page and continue with your activities.
8. If your upload is unsuccessful you will be directed to the 'Sorry' page confirming that your file upload has been unsuccessful on this occasion
9. from here you can return back to your profile page and try submitting your artwork again.
10. After the upload process is completed your file will be submitted for verification by the site moderators
11. artwork should be verified within 24 hours of upload.
12. Once your file has been verified by the site moderators a default animation graphic will be generated for your file
13. this will appear in your portfolio and the gallery pages as the thumbnail view for your animation.

Audio files must be saved in mp3 format for use on the Freehand site.

1. Log-in to your profile page
2. Choose Audio from the 'Media Type' drop down list.
3. Enter a title and short description for your audio piece, if you do not include a title it will display as 'untitled'.
4. Click on the 'Choose File' button and browse your computer to locate the file you would like to attach for upload to your portfolio.
5. Click the 'Submit' button to start the upload process.
6. Once your file has been successfully uploaded you will be directed to the 'Congratulations' page confirming that your file has been uploaded
7. from here you can return back to your profile page and continue with your activities.
8. If your upload is unsuccessful you will be directed to the 'Sorry' page confirming that your file upload has been unsuccessful on this occasion

Image files must be saved in jpg, png or gif RGB format with a resolution of 72 dpi for use on the Freehand site.

3. Image is set as the default option.
4. Enter a title and short description for your image, if you do not include a title it will display as 'untitled'.
5. Click on the 'Choose File' button and browse your computer to locate the file you would like to attach for upload to your portfolio.
6. Click the 'Submit' button to start the upload process.
7. Once your file has been successfully uploaded you will be directed to the 'Congratulations' page confirming that your file has been uploaded

4. Click on the 'Choose File' button and browse your computer to locate the file you would like to attach for upload to your portfolio.
5. Click the 'Submit' button to start the upload process.
6. Once your file has been successfully uploaded you will be directed to the 'Congratulations' page confirming that your file has been uploaded
